Vintage 14k gold Haida ring features shapes of the ovoid, trigon and crescent, traditional to the Indigenous nations of the Pacific Northwest Coast. Hand engraved onto this band is the head of the eagle and the beaver. Two powerful animal totems, the eagle being the ruler of the sky, representing strength, leadership and connection. He gives us vision and insight. The beaver is wise, reflecting knowledge and creative power; he is the builder of dreams and family. Animals to the Haida, are classified as spiritual beings, able to shapeshift and transform themselves into human form.
