This antique mourning ring, circa 1880s era is a true treasure. Crafted from 18k gold, this piece is adorned with five lustrous graduated white sea pearls, individually set in square bezels, and framed with black enamel, offering a striking contrast that embodies the classic mourning style of the period.
The black enamel trim symbolizes remembrance, a hallmark of mourning jewelry, while the pearls convey purity and grace. The ring's design showcases the fine craftsmanship of the era, with the rich gold complementing the muted tones of the pearls and enamel. An elegant piece, steeped in history and sentiment.
