Mountain Spirit Dancer Bolo
This large, striking vintage Zuni bolo tie contains a multi-stone inlay of an Apache Gahn Kachina or "Mountain Spirit" dancer. According to Apache tradition, the Gahn were sent from above to instruct rituals to invoke blessings and strong medicine to fight off disease. Today, the songs and dances of the Mountain Spirit Dancers represent channelling the powers of the Gahn into present day.
With the inlaid dancer comprised of turquoise, red coral, black jet, shell and mother of pearl, surrounding the inlay is a simple sterling silver bezel and stamp design all around. They genuinely don't make them like this anymore, a considerably rare excellent piece right within your midst.
