Crystalized Gibeon Meteorite Ring
This stunning ring is truly one of a kind. The sleek oval off sterling silver band holds a chunk of smokey Gibeon, a crystallized meteorite which fell to the Earth over 3 million years ago. Gibeon meteorites are composed of an iron-nickel alloy. The crystal structure of this meteorite provides a classic example of fine octahedrite and the Widmanstatten pattern which is appreciated for its beauty both by collectors and designers. Captured in a 14k rose gold bezel, this beautiful piece of alien rock is such a wonderful reminder of the vast universe which surrounds us, and gives us a chance to remember our connection to it all.
